United Kingdom nationals and their families who are beneficiaries of the EU-UK Withdrawal Agreement can continue to apply for a residence permit containing an endorsement referring to the Withdrawal Agreement (if they have not already done so).
As of 31 July 2023, the special arrangements for foreigners introduced in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic will cease to apply. This is a consequence of the cancellation of the state of epidemic emergency on the territory of Poland.
One of the requirements for granting a residence permit for a long-term resident of the European Union is that the foreigner must have a confirmed command of the Polish language. New regulations in this regard have been in force since 24 June.
