The Case Management Portal was created to enable foreign nationals to submit applications for residence permits online and to provide them with the necessary information about immigration procedures.

The MOS portal is operated by the Head of the Office for Foreigners. The Office for Foreigners is a government administrative body responsible, among other things, for residence permits (as a second-instance authority). You can find information about what we do on our homepage at: www.udsc.gov.pl.
The portal contains reliable and useful information about migration procedures. We strive to present this information in an accessible format to ensure a comfortable user experience for all visitors.
We will continue to develop, update, and expand the portal with new information and features, but you can already take advantage of the many options we’ve created for you.
Main Panel
The main panel contains sections that correspond to the three steps leading to the correct submission of an application.
Step 1: Check your accommodation options
Before you begin filling out the application, complete the questionnaire to learn about the residency options available in your specific situation.
Step 2: Review the information
If you are looking for specific information, you can skip the first step and go directly to one of the information categories that interests you:
- Invitations
- Visas and visa-free travel, including options for extending them
- Options for legalizing your stay
- List of foreign nationals whose stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland is undesirable and the Schengen Information System for the purposes of refusing entry and stay

Articles on residence permits contain the information needed to prepare for filling out and submitting an application, including information on the requirements and the procedure for obtaining a permit.
Step 3: Submit your application online
In this section, you will find applications for a temporary residence permit, a permanent residence permit, and an EU long-term resident’s residence permit. You can complete and submit these applications electronically (i.e., without having to appear in person at the provincial office to submit them).
When filling out the online application, wherever possible, you can select options from drop-down menus. You can also use the context-sensitive help. Features that prevent leaving fields blank and attaching a digital photo in an unsupported format reduce the risk of your application being rejected.
You will also find other application forms and templates for legal proceedings regarding residence legalization, as well as registers for the purposes of refusing entry and residence (these include interactive PDF forms that can be filled out electronically after downloading them from MOS, as well as forms available for download and completion in paper format), including, among others, those regarding the discontinuation of proceedings, the appointment of a representative, or notifications of a change of residence address.
"Learn More" section
This section expands on the information panel with more detailed information. Thanks to the content provided here, you will learn about the most common mistakes made by foreigners at various stages of the procedures, as well as answers to the questions most frequently asked of immigration authorities. The general database will help you resolve any doubts regarding the procedures, and the information in the technical database will help you use the portal correctly. This section includes procedure checklists. It also provides access to infographics, instructional videos, podcasts, and other materials useful for foreigners.

- provides access to legal acts relevant to migration matters.
News
- allows you to stay up to date on information regarding the work of the Office for Foreigners and other migration authorities, as well as the MOS portal itself. It provides links to information about planned changes to regulations relevant to the entry and residence of foreigners, as well as those that have just come into effect.
Contact
– this section contains a contact form for provincial governors, the Head of the Office for Foreigners, and other authorities competent in migration matters, depending on the type of case and its stage. This section also provides access to the websites of migration authorities.
Technical Support
– provides technical support in cases of issues related to the operation of the MOS portal (e.g., login problems, problems creating an account).
Editorial
– allows you to stay in touch with the people behind the portal. You can contact us to report errors, inaccuracies, or the need to supplement or update information. You can point out elements of the portal that interest you and that you’d like us to develop further. Finally, you can share your ideas with us on how we can improve MOS.
